Nick and Heather Reed

Nick and Heather have been married since August of 2005 and have four children; Judah, Micaiah, Margaret-Lexie, and Iverlee-Jean. For the past three years they have called Urbandale home, previously living in Ankeny, Grimes, and Des Moines. Nick and Heather have a deep love for the Church and it’s role in God’s plan for bringing the good news of Jesus to the world. They have been working in ministry for fifteen years, extending back into their college days, serving in various roles from youth to worship to lead pastor. Nick and Heather both graduated from Bible college with a Bible and Theology degree, with Nick adding a double major in Youth Ministry. They are highly involved in the community and have a heart to serve it well.

Before becoming the lead planter/pastor of CityPoint Church, Nick worked for 12 years at the same church in various roles from youth pastor to worship pastor and finally lead pastor. Nick and Heather love attending their kids sporting events, being outdoors, watching family movies, and going on vacation to the beach.
