Introducing a new song - House of the Lord

This Sunday we will be introducing a new song, House of the Lord by Phil Wickham. As we kick off a new year, let’s not focus on the frustrations that have been, but look forward in faith and hope for what God will do, regardless of the chaos we perceive around us. We have reason to be joyful as disciples and as a church. Regardless of who we are or what we’ve done or been through, the Heavenly Father wants a relationship with you, and He sent His Son to reconcile us back to Himself. Through faith we are no longer beggars, slaves, or enemies, but sons and daughters, heirs in the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We just celebrated the advent of the King's birth, and even January 6th this last week marks the 12th day of Christmas or Epiphany, which is the celebration of God revealing Himself to mankind through Jesus. Whatever life brings this year, we have a good God and King who deserves our praise. Check out the song and get excited to worship God together this Sunday.

We worship the God who was
We worship the God who is
We worship the God who evermore will be
He opened the prison doors
He parted the raging sea
My God He holds the victory

There’s joy In the house of the Lord
There’s joy in the house of the Lord today
And we won’t be quiet
We shout out Your praise
There’s joy in the house of the Lord
Our God is surely in this place
And we won’t be quiet
We shout out Your praise
We shout out Your praise

We sing to the God who heals
We sing to the God who saves
We sing to the God who always makes a way
Cause He hung upon that cross
Then He rose up from that grave
My God’s still rolling stones away

There’s joy In the house of the Lord
There’s joy in the house of the Lord today
And we won’t be quiet
We shout out Your praise
There’s joy in the house of the Lord
Our God is surely in this place
And we won’t be quiet
We shout out Your praise

We were the beggars
Now we’re royalty
We were the prisoners
Now we’re running free
We are forgiven accepted
Redeemed by His grace
Let the house of the Lord sing praise

Cause we were the beggars
Now we’re royalty
We were the prisoners
Now we’re running free
We are forgiven accepted
Redeemed by His grace
Let the house of the Lord sing praise

There’s joy In the house of the Lord (there is joy in this house)
There’s joy in the house of the Lord today
And we won’t be quiet (oh yeah)
We shout out Your praise
There’s joy in the house of the Lord (there is joy, there is joy)
Our God is surely in this place
And we won’t be quiet
We shout out Your praise

There’s joy In the house of the Lord
There’s joy in the house of the Lord today
And we won’t be quiet
We shout out Your praise
There’s joy in the house of the Lord (there is joy, there is joy)
Our God is surely in this place
And we won’t be quiet (we won’t be quiet)
We shout out Your praise

We shout out Your praise
There is joy in this house
There is joy in this house today
We shout out Your praise
We shout out Your praise
