This is a Move

This coming Sunday Nick will be preaching over the Lord’s Prayer from the Sermon on the Mount. We will also be introducing a new song into our worship rotation, “This is a Move” by Brandon Lake and Tasha Cobbs Leonard. While the song seems to focus on miracles on first glance, it’s really about the deeper sense of turning to God knowing only He has the power to effect change. As we spend time studying the Lord’s Prayer and seeking for the Spirit to align our hearts with the Father’s, we can have peace and hope, knowing who ultimately sits on the throne, even when nations rage we can take refuge in Him (Psalm 2) and pray that all hearts would be turned to Jesus Christ.

Matthew 6:9–15 (ESV)

9 Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.

10 Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread,

12 and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

14 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, 15 but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
