This coming Sunday we will be on our 7th week of our Matthew Series, covering Matthew 5:13-16 about those in Christ’s Kingdom being the light of the world. This of course is because of Christ being the light, which the Gospel of John tells us in John 1:1-18, verses 4-5 in particular:
“In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
We’ll be singing the song No Other Love which has the chorus:

Behold, your light comes shining through
Every shadow you consume
You illuminate the dark
Jesus is the light of the world, and as believers we’ve been called to join Him in the mission to shine His light into the darkness. We pray God continues to use you and our church family to be a light within our city and community.
