Here is what's going on for the week!
Monday's Bible Club - ENDED - until later this Fall
Tuesday's & Wednesday's - LifeGroups
Wednesday's - Youth Group - 6-8pm UH Church Bldg.
Thursday's - Prayer - 6:45-7:15 - UH Church Bldg.
Friday's - Girls for Greatness - 7am
Sunday's - Prayer before Church - 4:15pm
Sunday's - Sunday Gathering - 5:00pm
SERVICE WEEKEND - MAY 27-29
CitySerivce Weekend is a little less than one week away. We are going to try something new! We are going to do a 3 Day Challenge! Below are the details! Are you willing to take the challenge?
Friday, May 27: Kick the weekend off with the Church Picnic at Lions Park. We have rented the open air shelter. CityPoint will provide the meat for beef burgers, buns and the condiments . Bring a side dish to share, your own tableware, eating utensil, drink, lawn chair, and let's just enjoy one another’s company. Someone has to take pictures and email them in to citypointu@gmail.com
PICNIC TIME: 5:30-7:30
Saturday, May 28: Sit down with someone or anyone and share your favorite Bible Story or favorite Bible Verse. Do this with your family, neighbors, sports team, friends, or get together with someone from the church family and share! Take a picture and email it in to citypoiintu@gmail.com
Sunday, May 29: Serve someone! Take a meal to someone. Send a card to someone. Pull some weeds for someone. Drop off a case of bottled water to a construction crew. Occupy YOUR STREET! Take a picture and email it in to citypointu@gmail.com.
So are you willing to take the challenge on a long weekend? Will you send in your pictures? CityPoint, this is a great weekend to occupy our street.
SPECIAL THREE WEEK OFFERING FOR CAMP COUNSELORS
Iowa Bible Camp is the week of June 19th. It is fast approaching and we have a few CityPoint people that have volunteered to be camp counselors. Campers and counselors have a fee to pay. It would be great if we could help out the counselors with their cost for the week. We are going to take a special offering for the next two weeks. If you pay by check put "Youth Ministry" in the memo. If you give online please put it under the tab "Youth Ministry". That way I can keep track of what fund its for. This is above your normal giving. If you have any questions, please let us know.
