Here are this weeks events/dates at a glance:
September 2nd - Prayer in the Park
September 4th - MRU - (Men Rising Up)
September 5th - Sunday Pre-Service Prayer
September 5th - Sunday Gathering
Prayer in the Park is held each Thursday Evening from 6:45-7:15. We meet in the gazebo at Lions Park in Urbandale. We will continue to Pray for our community, schools, churches and whatever else is on your heart.
Men Rising Up will be held at Twisted Bean on Merle Hay Road. This is open for all Men. The time is 7:00am to 8:30am. Josh (Trapper) is the host of this Ministry. Please feel free to contact him with any questions.

Sunday Pre-Service Prayer will be held in the Prayer Room at Urban Heights Church Building. This is open to anyone interested. We Pray about any and everything. Please join us at 4:30pm.
Sunday Gathering will meet at 5:00pm at Urban Heights Church Building. Pastor Nick has started a 5 week series called "Values" Last weeks was Prayer. This weeks topic will be "Risk Big" Bold Faith. The main passage will be from the book of Judges 7:1-8. Please read this passage before our gathering at 5:00pm.
LifeGroups: Targeted to start in October.
It's that time again to ramp up our LifeGroups. Pastor Nick will tell us more about this Ministry on Sunday.
Carwash Event: September 18th - 9:00-11:00am
This will be held at Urban Heights parking lot. Please bring your old rags or towels with you. We will have two pressure washers. We need lots of help to accomplish this task. We will be collecting a "Free Will Donation" to be used for our Community Outreach. Let us know if you have any questions about this event.
Meals from the Heartland Event: This will be our first time volunteering for this event. This is open to all who would like to join us on October 30th, 9:00-11:00am. Address is 357 Lincoln St., West Des Moines. Meals from the Heartland will supply everything we need to complete this task. You have to be 14 or older to volunteer. If you are 8 years old to 14 you must be with an adult. We will have a sign up sheet for this event on Sunday so please stop by the "Get Connected" table.
