Weekly Update 6-13-21

CityPoint, With Iowa Bible Camp starting this coming Sunday June 20, and so many of our students, leadership, worship team, and parents going up to camp, this Sunday @5 there will be a 30 Minute prayer service for all who are still in town. Please if you were planning on attending church Sunday night, come to this prayer time where you will have focused prayer for all at camp, students, and staff alike, as well as prayer for our upcoming week of VBS.  Register for VBS We need your help. To make VBS happen it will be all hands on deck. You may be thinking, “oh no I can’t teach kids.” Don’t worry you those positions are already filled. We need people for things like crowd control, and just to being there to have fun and love on the kids. This is for anyone, we need you. Please consider signing up by emailing Jackie Kosloske here ( koslo828@gmail.com ) Fourth of July activities and eventsUrbandale is once again pending up all events for the Fourth of July weekend. This creates an amazing opportunity for us to get out and mingle with the community for the sake of the gospel.We are working on some things that we will challenge the church to consider being a part of. I know that this is usually time for families to hangout and have fun, which we want you to do, but we also want to challenge you to join in, with the church on the opportunities that God gives us in the community through these events. So within the next week be looking for an email with some things that you can come be a part of for the Kingdom.
