Saturday, September 18th - MRU (Men Rising Up) - Twisted Bean, Merle Hay Road
This is a Men's Bible Study. It is open to any and all men. Josh (Trapper) Jones leads this. Please come and check it out this Saturday. 7:00-8:30am.
Sunday Gathering, September 19th - Urban Heights Church Bldg.
This is the Fourth week in our "VALUES" Series. This weeks topic is "Selfless Service". The passage for this week is Matthew 20:28.
Carwash Event: September 18th from 9am to 11am
Show up Saturday and help wash cars to raise money for CityPoint Church community outreach programs, such as Easter Egg Hunt, Adopt a Family, Daddy Daughter Dance, etc. Free will donation car wash! Send all of your friends to get their cars washed! Bring your old towels, sponges, and buckets (we will return your buckets)! We are excited to serve with you! Bring those kiddos to help wash cars, too!
Meals from the Heartland Event: October 30th 9am to 11am
Who is your “ONE”? Have you been praying for someONE to join us at CityPoint? Have you been praying for someONE to accept Jesus as their savior? This event is designed to encourage you to invite your “ONE” to join us in serving. This is a great opportunity for them to make connections with others from CityPoint. Details: Address is 357 Lincoln St., West Des Moines. Meals from the Heartland will supply everything we need to complete this task. You have to be 14 or older to volunteer. If you are 8 years old to 14 you must be with an adult. We will have a sign up sheet for this event on Sunday so please stop by the "Get Connected" table. Sign Up!
If you have not registered at the Get Connected table at church you can use the above link to sign up. We need to know how many people are interested. We need to know ahead of time how many people will be volunteering.
